# Workwae

> Workwae is a hosted API for email, calendars and contacts. Developers connect their users' Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, IMAP/SMTP and CalDAV/CardDAV accounts, then sync, search and send mail, read and write calendars and contacts, create Zoom and Webex meetings with calendar events, and receive every change as a signed webhook or through an ordered change feed. It is offered by WORKWAE LLC and is in early access.

- API base URL: https://api.workwae.com (REST under /v1, OpenAPI document at https://api.workwae.com/v1/openapi.json)
- TypeScript SDK: `@workwae/sdk` (`createClient({ apiKey })`), an alpha (0.1.0-alpha.1) whose surface may still change
- MCP server: https://api.workwae.com/mcp, for AI agents to read and search mail, calendars and contacts, save drafts and, with the send scope, send; connect with an API key or OAuth
- Authentication: workspace API keys (`wk_...`) or short-lived account tokens (`wat_...`) as Bearer tokens
- Workwae is a hosted service only; it is not available for self-hosting.
